Becky Adams: High Days and Holidays workshop
In this workshop devised especially for Unit Twelve, you will get to create your very own caravan from cardstock, old book covers and vintage fabric.
Becky Adams works with storytelling and memory to create one-off artworks that resonate with nostalgia and whimsy. She has fond memories of summer caravan holidays in the Gower as a child, so created a miniature caravan to evoke that similar sense of joy.
Becky will provide you with her own template from which to work with and then guide you in her mixed media approach. All materials provided, including vintage ephemera and fabric, but please do bring along any special papers, scrap fabrics, maps, hardback books, holiday memory ephemera or old family photographs that you might like to incorporate in your caravan.
Becky is so excited to see you and will have her miniature kettle on the stove ready to make you a tiny cuppa!
The workshop is 10 - 4pm
