Becky Adams: Sail Away with Me workshop

Join Becky Adams on a gentle voyage of discovery and create your own magical little paper boat. Becky will supply you with a template for the hull of your boat and then demonstrate how she uses decoupage with vintage papers and antique ephemera. During the workshop you will also be guided in making the sails which might include hand embroidery, stitch and applique.
Becky is known for her playful repurposing of materials and will bring along a selection of vintage finds to share on the day, so all materials are provided, but please do bring along any special papers, scrap fabrics, maps, small keepsakes and trinkets to add your own story and sentiment into the finished piece that you create.

The workshop is 10 - 4pm

Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshop has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.

All materials and use of equipment are included, however it is recommended that you bring a few items to personalise the work (as listed above)

Please bring a packed lunch. However cold drinks, tea & coffee will be provided.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware the workshop artists retain the intellectual property to their own ideas- you cannot go into business making, or running workshops showing copies of the artists work. You can however use the ideas for personal use and with your own students, if you are a teacher.
