Petals and Pots: Berry Basket workshop

Join local Artist, Grower and Maker Helen, from Petals and Pots to make a willow Berry Basket. In this hands-on willow weaving workshop you will learn the traditional stake and strand technique to craft your own small berry basket. Perfect for all abilities, this session offers a relaxing and creative experience using sustainably sourced willow. Under the guidance of an experienced tutor, you will discover how to prepare, shape, and weave willow into a functional and beautiful basket, with plenty of tips and tricks to help you continue your weaving journey. All tools and materials are provided however as it is a physical process good hand-strength is needed. Please be aware this workshop involves using sharp secateurs.

Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshops has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.

All materials and use of equipment are included

Please bring a packed lunch. However hot and cold drinks, biscuits and cake will be provided!

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult- Please be aware this workshop involves using sharp implements.
