The Zarzo basket originated from a design for a Catalan Cheese tray and was traditionally used for straining cheese. However this variation is perfect for gathering and displaying fruit, vegetables or flowers. On this course you will learn and use the techniques to weave one of these beautiful naturally coloured willow baskets from british grown willow.
A Zarzo basket is a perfect form for those new to willow weaving however it is a physical process hard on your hands so good hand-strength is needed.
