Studio Critical: Spoon Carving

Come and learn to carve a wooden spoon. We’ll use fresh ‘green’ wood that’s been saved from the wood chipper to carve a beautiful handmade spoon, no experience necessary. The day will start with some relaxing whittling to get comfortable with the tools, and then we’ll jump into spoon carving. Starting with a roughly shaped blank you’ll use only a few simple carving tools to carve your very own spoon. This workshop is not suitable for under 16's.

Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non refundable or transferable to a different workshop). However IF this workshops has to be cancelled you will of course receive a refund in full.

All materials and use of equipment are included. However please be aware that you will be using very sharp knives in this workshop.

Please bring a packed lunch. However hot and cold drinks, biscuits and cake will be provided!
